Congregate Centers Are Open!

Our Congregate Centers offer a daily nutritionally balanced hot lunches to adults age 60+ or to individuals with disabilities. Our centers also offer nutrition education programs, evidence-based health and wellness programs and socialization activities. Everyone is invited and welcome to any of our centers!  Check out the monthly menu link below!

To join us for a hot mid-day meal at one of our five Congregate Sites, please call before Thursday each week. Meal orders are placed each Thursday for the following week. Please make a reservation with the Congregate Site before this time so we may order your meal(s). If this is your first visit, your Site Manager will get you registered at the site (free registration). Meals are planned by a registered dietitian and are available for a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal and include entrée, vegetables, low sugar desserts, whole grain breads and beverages. Congregate Centers also offer social and wellness activities for all participants. These activities include bingo, health screenings, music programs, and more. Falls Prevention, Walk with Ease, Tai Chi for arthritis, Bingocize, Senior Farmer’s Market Coupon Program, WISE (Wellness Initiative for Senior Education) and Senior Medicare Patrol are a few of the current offerings.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Congregate centers will be closed for holidays.  

SNOW POLICY
The Congregate Centers and Meals To Go! (home delivery) will make every effort to be open regardless of weather conditions. Meals To Go!, however, may be on a delayed schedule or occasionally need to deliver the next day. Rarely, a weather emergency may necessitate congregate site closures or cancelled home deliveries.

If a posting that says “LifeSpan Resources Senior Nutrition” CLOSED, then the homebound meals will not be delivered and the Congregate Centers will be closed that day.
