The theme this year is Family Reunion!

We are excited to celebrate 26 years of Senior Games and the family that we have become through the years! Come join all of the incredible fun and good times that Senior Games brings!

 

The Senior Games Advisory Council is busily

working to put together another incredible year of events. While they are busy doing that, we would like for you to invite your friends to join us in 2012 and become new members of our Senior Games family!

 

It’s not too late to join the 2012 Senior Games Gang! Enclosed you will find further information on how to join. Thank you to all of our current Gang members…..YOU are the largest sponsor of the 2012 Senior Games! Go ahead, pat yourselves on the back – that’s right you deserve it! Each Gang member will have a Senior Games Gang logo on the sleeve of their t-shirt again this year.

 

a  You will be allowed to enter one entry per category in the Bake Off. Yes! That’s right! You can spend ½ the night before Opening baking a pie, a cake and cookies. Oh my goodness.

 

a We will have 2 different start times for Mini Golf again this year. Those living in Clark or Scott Counties will automatically be given the later start time. Of course, transportation and other issues will factor into how the groups are broken up.

 

aThe cost to participate is $12.00 ($13.50 if you would like a 2X or 3X

t-shirt.)

aThe “Loved Ones” booklet will be distributed at Closing again this year

if you would like to acknowledge someone special. If you wish to make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one please complete the information on the bottom of your registration form and return it to Julie by May 18th.

 

a The age categories are:

55 – 62        63 – 70        71 – 78        79 – 86         87+

T-shirts will be available for pick-up from May 7 – May 18.

These can be picked up at our office.

If you mail in your registration form by May 2nd we will have

everything ready for you when you come to pick it up.

Golf Shores, 2510 Landmark Way, Corydon

Transportation will be made available through our Transportation program as we did last year. The cost to ride the van to Golf Shores and back will be $2.00 per person. You must indicate on the Registration Form if you want to ride.

We will offer 2 different start times again this year. More information about this will be in the Program Book.

we will only bowl 2 games.

Lunch will be provided by Westminster Village from Noon – 12:30 p.m.

Participants must choose between: Euchre, Pinochle, Checkers and Texas Hold ‘Em.

 

Texas Hold ‘Em will be limited to the first 42 participants.

Don’t forget, if you would like your t-shirt delivered to one of our many nutrition sites you must put that information on your registration form. (Top right hand corner – there is a line just for this.) Or, if you will be at the Charlestown Senior Center or either of the Jeffersonville or New Albany AARP meetings in May and would like to pick your t-shirt up there, just put CSC, Jeff. AARP or New Albany AARP on that line and everything you need will be brought to the meeting. If the line is blank we will have those shirts available for pick-up at our office located on the

Third Floor of the Floyd County YMCA facility, 33 State Street, New Albany.
