Scott County Outreach

LifeSpan Resources maintains a satellite office in Scottsburg for the convenience of Scott County residents. Funded by United Way of Scott County, the office is also a SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program) site. It is the entry point for all Scott County residents to access LifeSpan Resources’ services.

AVAILABLE SERVICES

LifeSpan Resources provides outreach services to older persons in Scott County. Staff assist with accessing services/programs and provide counseling for insurance and public benefits.

The Information Specialist can also provide assistance with:
• Accessing various prescription drug assistance programs.
• Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Insurance questions
• Medicaid and Medicaid Select questions
• Available resources and assistance available through other Scott County social service agencies.
